New flavors and new design from Swave! From the microfactory in Roma on Gotland comes two new products: a new flavour - Swave Aviation, and a new packaging design. The design is inspired by the local environment around the microfactory in Roma on Gotland and highlights the careful craftsmanship behind each portion of the product.
Swave Aviation is a new product that has now become part of the permanent range. The nicotine pouches are made on Gotland and have a unique flavour that combines floral violet with a hint of cherry. Buy Swave Aviation here.
- We've had a great brand journey with Swave in recent years and now there was only one thing left: the packs. As the taste explorers we are, we always want to give the consumer an exciting experience - even when it comes to the appearance of the cans," says Håkan Solberg, Marketing & Sales Manager at Gotlandssnus.
The new visual identity for Swave has been developed through a close collaboration between Gotlandssnus, Edisen and Öström Studio. The colour scale, patterns and materials have been carefully selected to reflect Swave's origin, i.e. the Gotlandssnus micro-factory in Roma on Gotland.
- Each portion is made with care in our microfactory, and we want to convey that through the box. The sense of craftsmanship is reflected in the choice of material for the labels, which have a coarser structure and tactile print. This makes it feel and be experienced in a completely different way than other cans - with what I would say is higher quality," says Daniel Baumgardt, Creative Director at Gotlandssnus.
Swave's seven flavours have each been given a colour inspired by the respective flavour and the colour scale consists of natural, earthy shades. The sense of Gotlandic craftsmanship is also emphasised by the can's seal, which features a pattern inspired by something often associated with Gotland: the waves of the sea.
- The wave is drawn by hand to give it that unique, almost imperfect feel. As a designer you sometimes have to compromise, but here the result is really what we always envisioned and wanted it to be: a modern design that at the same time breathes Gotland and small scale, says Karin Öström, Art Director at Öström Studio.
